The initial launch will see these advanced charging points installed at the Lai Sun Commercial Centre and the Convention Plaza, marking a significant milestone for electric vehicle infrastructure in the region.

In a bid to enhance convenience for electric vehicle (EV) owners, XPENG is also rolling out its high-performance XP Hypercharging stations in Hong Kong, boasting 360kW+ power capabilities. This move is aimed at ensuring that EV drivers have easy access to reliable charging options throughout the city.

To assist drivers in navigating the growing network of charging facilities, XPENG will incorporate a comprehensive Hong Kong-wide charging map into both its in-car system and mobile application. This helpful tool will initially cover almost 2,000 public charging locations, providing invaluable support to EV users in finding accessible charging spots quickly.

Moreover, XPENG has just debuted the highly anticipated X9 7-seater MPV in Hong Kong. This spacious and versatile vehicle, which was officially launched in mainland China in January 2024, showcases cutting-edge features designed for urban environments. The X9 is equipped with an active rear-wheel steering system that improves maneuverability and makes it ideal for city driving.

The striking X9 boasts a starship-inspired aesthetic, featuring a generous 7.7m² cabin and expandable storage options that range from 755 liters to an impressive 2,554 liters. Additionally, the model is designed with a three-row independent voice interaction system to enhance accessibility and convenience for passengers.

XPENG is also committed to enhancing smart mobility through its innovative over-the-air (OTA) software updates that provide users with regular improvements in intelligent driving capabilities and overall system performance. Their pioneering X-Combo Smart Scenario system personalizes the driving experience by integrating over 360 intelligent control modules, thereby fostering adaptive and efficient mobility solutions.

In a landmark development, XPENG recently opened its first Tech Center in Asia, situated in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. This center not only highlights the company's latest advancements in smart mobility but also showcases its cutting-edge robotics lineup.
