HKIA is undergoing major advancements, with a robust development plan aimed at revitalizing the airport and its surrounding areas. A significant highlight is the completion of the airport's third runway, which finally provides many airlines with the access they have been eagerly seeking for the last decade. “In the past 10 years, many airlines wanted to gain access to Hong Kong, but we didn’t have the slots available,” Cheung explained. Now, with ample slots even during peak hours, the message is clear: act fast to tap into this bustling market!

Accommodating Growth

Hong Kong International Airport is projected to accommodate an impressive 120 million passengers and 10 million tonnes of cargo annually thanks to this new three-runway system. This redevelopment aligns perfectly with the city's ambition to further establish itself as an international aviation hub.

Moreover, the ambitious Airport City project is rapidly taking shape, having been launched in 2019.
