In a riveting showcase of future basketball talent, Darryn Peterson stole the spotlight, scoring 18 points and earning co-MVP honors as the West experienced a resounding 105-92 victory over the East in the annual McDonald's All American boys' game hosted at Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

The game featured a pulsating rivalry, highlighted by Alijah Arenas, son of three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas. With a key free throw at the end of the third quarter, Arenas pushed the West to a narrow 74-70 lead. This set the stage for a dominant fourth quarter where the West stretched their advantage to as much as 15 points.

Among the standout players were the Boozer brothers—Cayden and Cameron—who have already committed to Duke. Cameron Boozer, the third-ranked prospect for the 2025 class according to ESPN, was instrumental for the East, contributing 16 points and sharing MVP honors with Peterson. Meanwhile, Isiah Harwell, a Houston commit ranked 13th by ESPN, matched Boozer's contributions with another 16 points for the East.
