However, just as noteworthy is the extensive range of challenges players encounter on their quest for 100% completion. Enthusiastic Musou fans have dedicated countless hours to perfecting their gameplay, with some reporting that the Zelda crossover Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition requires a staggering 361 hours to fully conquer. While I can't definitively claim that Dynasty Warriors: Origins offers quite that level of content (if only I could spare 300 hours to find out!), it's safe to say that Omega Force's latest installment presents plenty of opportunities for chaotic battles and exploration.

My initial playthrough of Origins clocked in at just over 40 hours, during which I faced off against formidable foes on Hero (hard) difficulty and actively sought out every bond event and optional battle. Depending on your play style, it’s entirely possible to reach the end credits in less time. But rest assured, even after finishing the main storyline, the game presents a treasure trove of content waiting for your exploration.

This branching narrative adds significant replay value since many unique stages are tied to these distinct paths. In my first run, I completed only about 50% of available missions, underscoring the game's extensive replayability.

However, completing battles at this level rewards you with invaluable items and gear, making it a worthy challenge. Be prepared, though! Even after a full playthrough, you might find yourself underpowered for this high-level challenge.

With the potential for Dynasty Warriors: Origins to demand triple-digit hours of gameplay before you achieve everything it has to offer, keep in mind that the franchise is also known for re-releases and downloadable content (DLC) expansions which could further enhance gameplay experiences.
