She emphasized that dietary habits rich in plant-based foods, complemented by a moderate inclusion of nutritious animal products, could be key to promoting healthy aging and informing future dietary guidelines.

While the study was robust, it did have its limitations—most notably, the participants were primarily healthcare professionals. Researchers suggest that further investigation with individuals from varied socioeconomic backgrounds would enrich the understanding of how dietary habits influence health across the board.
