Dramatic footage released on Telegram showcases the decisive moments of this operation's failure, with Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance and artillery decimating advancing forces, resulting in multiple explosions and plumes of smoke.

Overwhelming Numbers Doomed to Failure

The assault saw at least 320 Russian personnel and a fleet of 40 armored combat vehicles, including three tanks, attempting to surge through Ukrainian defenses near settlements like Pyatikhatky and Mala Tokmachka. However, thanks to vigilant Ukrainian reconnaissance, decisive strikes from drones and artillery ensured their failure.

Reports indicate that the first losses for Russian troops occurred before they even reached the main combat line, with three infantry fighting vehicles falling victim to Ukrainian firepower 8 kilometers away.

Battle of Attrition: A Sustained Conflict

The ensuing battle stretched over two and a half hours, with Ukrainian forces maintaining a firm grip on their positions while dealing significant damage to the attackers. A report cited enemy losses of 29 military units and three damaged tanks, affirming the failure of the Russian offensive.
