Truecaller Launches Real-Time Caller ID for iPhone Users

This system allows Apple’s Phone app to make encrypted requests and receive encrypted responses, where decryption occurs only on the user’s iPhone. Kabra explained that while the synchronization between databases might introduce minor delays due to the processing time required for encryption, users should only experience a short wait—typically no longer than a few hours. Last week, reporters from TechCrunch had the opportunity to test the new live caller ID feature under Truecaller’s beta program. Overall, the feature successfully provided real-time caller information in most instances, though users may still encounter occasional misses.
