Travis Kelce is reveling in his new life as an engaged man!

In the latest episode of "The New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end, 35, shared some heartfelt reflections on life since proposing to the global superstar Taylor Swift, who is also 35, just a week ago.

Kelce's brother Jason, who has been happily married since 2018, probed whether Kelce felt any differences in his relationship after moving from dating to engagement with Swift.

"I experienced it at the game! It was the first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to some of my teammates," Travis said, referring to their recent appearance at Cincinnati University's game against Nebraska at Arrowhead Stadium. "Yeah, it was pretty cool! I still get giddy. Exciting times ahead, and it all feels fresh," he grinned.

The couple made their engagement public through an enchanting Instagram post on August 26, showcasing a dreamy set of pictures amid a blooming garden filled with pink and white flowers.

In their caption, they cheekily remarked, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," accompanied by her upcoming track, "So High School," inspired by Kelce himself.

Kelce proposed at his newly purchased Leawood, Kansas home, a place he acquired in 2023 to ensure more privacy for their whirlwind romance.

Addressing audience questions during the podcast, Travis offered advice on proposals: "It’s all about knowing your partner well. Don’t let how someone else does it dictate your own style."

The proposal beautifully coincided right after they recorded the record-breaking episode of her podcast on August 13, with a crew secretly preparing the garden for the moment.

In a heartfelt moment recounted by his father Ed, the couple FaceTimed their parents to share the joyous news. "They were about to head out for dinner and Travis suggested a glass of wine outside. That’s when he popped the question—it was beautiful," Ed recalled, beaming with pride. He was at an Eagles practice when he got the thrilling call.

Ed had an inkling that his son would propose to Swift months in advance, even speculating that it might happen during the previous NFL season.

During their candid chat, Swift also revealed that her much-anticipated 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," is set for release on October 3.

In a lighthearted moment, Swift credited "New Heights" for helping her find Kelce, referencing his unsuccessful attempt to meet her at one of her Eras Tour shows back in 2023.
