After a brief introduction to professional baseball in Low-A, the cancellation of the minor league season in 2020 hindered his progress. He struggled during his first complete season in 2021, posting lackluster numbers at High-A with a modest .235 batting average and a wRC+ of just 94. A similar story unfolded in 2022 at Double-A, where he managed only a .215 average and an 89 wRC+.

Turning the Tide in Double-A

But 2023 marked a turning point for Robertson. After going back to Double-A, he surged with a .245/.323/.488 batting line and an impressive 118 wRC+. His walk rate improved significantly to 9.7%, and he slugged 19 home runs in just 103 games, paving the way for his first promotion to Triple-A Buffalo.

Though his 2024 Triple-A performance was rocky, batting .226 with a 95 wRC+, Robertson's 2025 season has been nothing short of spectacular. In just 51 games, he's hitting an eye-popping .288/.410/.582, complementing his 12 home runs and a staggering 17.0% walk rate. With a significantly reduced strikeout rate of 23.9%, he boasts a 159 wRC+, placing him fourth in the International League.
