A Gruesome Crime Unfolds

In a shocking and horrific incident in Hyderabad, a 27-year-old man is alleged to have murdered his five-month pregnant wife in a fit of rage, following a series of domestic disputes.

Dismemberment and Deception

The crime took place around 4:30 PM on Saturday at their home in Medipally. Reports indicate that the husband, a driver for a ride-hailing service, brutally throttled his 21-year-old wife during an argument. In a chilling move to conceal the evidence, he dismembered her body using a hexa blade.

The accused discarded her head, hands, and legs in the Musi River at Prathapsingaram, while keeping the trunk of her body hidden in their home. In a sinister twist, he later contacted his sister, claiming his wife had mysteriously vanished. His story raised suspicions, leading to his eventual arrest.

Confession and Ongoing Investigation

Upon questioning, the husband confessed to the murder, and authorities are now treating the case seriously, with charges filed for murder and tampering with evidence. Meanwhile, the remains have been sent for post-mortem analysis, and a DNA test is planned to confirm the victim's identity.

A Troubled Marriage

The couple, originally from Vikarabad district, had entered into a love-cum-arranged marriage just a few months prior in January 2024. After moving to Hyderabad, their relationship quickly deteriorated due to frequent quarrels. The woman had previously filed a complaint of domestic violence in April 2024, but the matter was reportedly settled by community elders.

Despite her brief employment at a call center, the new life took a turn for the worse as her husband’s jealousy led her to quit. After she became pregnant in March 2025, tensions escalated, culminating in the tragic events of August 22, where a request to visit her family for medical care sparked a fatal confrontation.

Search for Closure Continues

As the investigation deepens, police teams, including NDRF personnel, are conducting extensive searches for the missing body parts, though they have yet to locate any further evidence. Community members are in shock, and the tragic tale serves as a grim reminder of the escalating issues surrounding domestic violence.
