Kicking off the festivities on March 29 is the incredibly talented Mikey Madison, fresh off her Oscar victory for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her work in the acclaimed film Anora. This will be her SNL hosting debut, while she’ll be joined by country superstar Morgan Wallen, who is returning for his second appearance on the show. His first stint in December 2020 was marked by controversy when he was dropped from a scheduled performance due to Covid-19 rule violations. Fans will be eager to see how Wallen lights up the stage for this second chance!

Jack Black Takes the Stage

Following Madison, on April 5, the ever-charismatic Jack Black will host for the fourth time, coinciding with the highly-anticipated release of A Minecraft Movie, which hits theaters the day prior. Black's infectious energy will be complemented by musical legends Elton John and Brandi Carlile. Interestingly, John has made a notable cultural mark on the show, appearing only three times but being the subject of countless impersonations. His history includes a memorable dual performance as both host and musical guest in 2011, and two earlier appearances in the 1980s. Carlile is also making waves, having graced the SNL stage twice in previous years, and her collaboration with John comes just as their new album, Who Believes in Angels?, is set to release on April 4.

Jon Hamm's Return

Finally, on April 12, the charming Jon Hamm returns to his hosting duties for the fourth time, after a substantial 15-year break since his last (during the height of Mad Men!). He’ll be hosting alongside powerhouse Lizzo, who knows her way around the SNL stage, having performed multiple times in the past. Excitingly, Hamm will also be gearing up for the premiere of his new series Your Friends & Neighbors on Apple TV+ just a day before.
