In a startling development, Isaiah Bond, the promising wide receiver from the University of Texas, surrendered to authorities in Frisco, Texas, today due to an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, according to NFL Media.

After posting bond, Bond was released, but this incident has thrown his future into uncertainty.

As a top prospect in the upcoming NFL draft, Bond was looking to make a significant impact. He had lined up visits with several teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Tennessee Titans, along with a local prospect day with the Atlanta Falcons.

Just days ago, the Bills had arranged a private workout with him following a dinner meeting, showing their keen interest. His scheduled visit to Buffalo is set for this Tuesday.

On the field, Bond has made quite an impression. He clocked an impressive 4.39 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine, with even faster times of 4.34 and 4.35 during his Pro Day at Texas.

Last season, he showcased his skills with 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns for the Longhorns. Over his college career, which spanned 41 games across Alabama and Texas, Bond amassed 99 receptions for a remarkable 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns.
