In a shocking revelation, Sheryl Crow has opened up about a terrifying incident that unfolded on her property after selling her Tesla. The Grammy-winning artist made headlines when she protested against CEO Elon Musk's controversial actions during the Trump administration by parting ways with her electric car.

During an exclusive interview with Variety, Crow candidly recounted a moment that left her feeling deeply vulnerable: a man armed with a weapon trespassed on her property. "I actually felt very afraid: A man got on my property, in my barn, who was armed," she shared. The singer emphasized how the current social climate feels markedly different compared to the past, particularly referencing her 1996 anti-gun anthem, "Love Is a Good Thing." She noted, "This feels different... not everybody was armed back then, and certainly I didn’t live in Tennessee, where it seems like everyone is armed."

Despite the frightening experience, Crow stands by her decision to document the sale of her Tesla, posting a video of the moment her car was towed away. In her statement, she clarified that the proceeds from the sale are being donated to National Public Radio (NPR), which she believes is under siege due to Musk's influence. "I can’t help it. I feel like I’m fighting for my kids. That’s how I was raised," she explained, drawing a parallel to her father, whom she describes as her own Atticus Finch—someone who stands up against injustice.

Sheryl Crow continues to be a vibrant force in the music industry, with her latest album, "Evolution," released last year. In a recent interview with Kyle Meredith, she delves into the profound themes woven into her work, exploring the interplay of empathy, joy, and the fears we face today.
