In an emotional social media post, rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders shared his heartfelt thanks following his debut in the NFL preseason with the Cleveland Browns.

The young athlete took to Instagram, saying, "Thanks everyone for the love and support. There’s a lot to learn from this preseason, but I’m really thankful for the opportunity to be out there. Day by day, rep by rep, I’ll keep learning and getting better."

Alongside his message, Sanders posted two photos: one where he interacts with enthusiastic fans—one even holding out his jersey for him to sign—and another that captures him in a huddle during a game, showcasing the excitement of his NFL journey.

Shedeur, son of legendary Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, has been in the spotlight not just for his lineage but also for a rollercoaster evaluation that began during his collegiate career.

As the preseason wrapped up, Sanders successfully completed 17 out of 29 passes, accumulating 152 passing yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, despite facing seven sacks. He also displayed versatility, rushing for 19 yards across four attempts.

In the quarterback room in Cleveland, he joins seasoned starter Joe Flacco, fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, and Kenny Pickett, creating a dynamic atmosphere filled with potential.

Once anticipated to be a first-round pick, Sanders's journey took a surprising turn as he was drafted in the fifth round at No. 144 after a standout college career at both Colorado and Jackson State. Now, the young quarterback is poised to prove his worth in the NFL as he embraces this new chapter.
