By the following year, his family shared a more serious update, revealing that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a progressive neurological disorder affecting behavior and cognition.

On the special day, Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming, and his daughters, Tallulah and Scout, rallied to honor him on their Instagram accounts.
