Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Campbell had previously visited SMU but ultimately chose to join the Nittany Lions, showcasing Penn State's growing momentum in the competitive landscape of college football.

At 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, Campbell is a formidable presence on the field. Though he initially entered the transfer portal during the winter, he briefly returned to the team for spring practice. After those drills wrapped up, he re-entered the portal to find his ideal football home. With two seasons of eligibility remaining, Campbell looks set to make a significant impact at Penn State.

During his time at North Carolina, Campbell demonstrated his prowess by racking up impressive stats — 76 tackles, including 10.5 for a loss, and 6.5 sacks in his sophomore year, making him a standout defender.
