In light of these developments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked on encouraging signals from Trump regarding a peaceful resolution, asserting that the president-elect wishes to avoid exacerbating the conflict. Trump has already engaged in discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reportedly lasting about 30 minutes.
