The highly anticipated home football clash against Louisiana, originally set for later in the afternoon, will now kick off at noon CT this Saturday at Memorial Stadium, due to forecasts predicting extreme heat.

Athletic Director Laird Veatch expressed his commitment to ensuring a safe experience for everyone involved. "Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our student-athletes and the game-day experience for our fans," he stated. Veatch extended his gratitude to fans for their flexibility in accommodating this necessary adjustment.

In light of the schedule change, fans are reminded that digital tickets will update automatically. To streamline entry, it’s critical for attendees to enter through the designated gates corresponding to their seating areas, as ticket scanners will restrict access from the wrong side.

For this game, fans can bring one clear, factory-sealed water bottle, which can be refilled at designated water stations located throughout the concourses, providing hydration options to combat the heat. Moreover, the gates of Memorial Stadium will open early at 10 a.m. Fans are encouraged to participate in the Tiger Walk, now set to begin at 9:30 a.m., welcoming the team with spirited enthusiasm.
