I recently had the exciting opportunity to test Yunara at Riot's Berlin arena, home of the League of Legends EMEA Championships. Even as a casual player, I could feel her unique play style start to shine.

Yunara’s Q ability allows her auto-attacks to stack, activating a powerful splash damage effect after a chain of eight attacks—think of it like Twitch's ultimate! Timing is crucial, as players will need to maintain the tempo to maximize her damage output.

A Revolutionary Take on Skillshots!

For the first time, League introduces Yunara's circular skillshot for her W ability, a game-changer in the realm of skill-based gameplay. This straight-line shot spins on impact, dealing splash damage—setting a new standard for skillshots in the game!

Ultimate Transformation!

Her ultimate (R) amplifies her abilities for a brief period, transforming her Q into instant splash damage and turning her W into a powerful beam attack, reminiscent of Aurelion Sol's old ultimate. This makes her a formidable presence in team fights!

From my experience in Berlin, I sensed that Yunara is a strategically nuanced champion, reminiscent of Zeri but with a unique tactical twist. Unlike Zeri’s aggressive plays, Yunara requires players to choose their moments with precision to capitalize on her potential.
