In a thrilling shakeup at Stellantis, Tim Kuniskis has been appointed head of American brands and North American marketing strategy, and he’s got one powerful mission: revitalize the SRT division!

That’s right, the iconic Street and Racing Technology brand is making its much-anticipated comeback after being quietly sidelined following the merger of FCA and PSA. This bold move aims to unify high-performance engineering across Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram into a singular powerhouse identity.

Currently, the sole SRT model gracing Stellantis’ lineup is the Durango SRT Hellcat, but Kuniskis is ready to change that. Expect to see a resurgence of big, thrilling V8 engines under the hoods of a wider array of vehicles. And with the electric Charger Daytona in the pipeline, SRT’s expertise will surely play a pivotal role in its high-performance adaptation.

Kuniskis is no stranger to performance. He was instrumental in returning the mighty Hemi V8 back to Ram trucks, and his passion for robust engines is undeniable. This is precisely the direction Stellantis needs to embrace in North America, especially after its recent missteps with conservative, four-cylinder crossovers.

"We're getting the band back together," Kuniskis proudly declared. "Establishing SRT is crucial as we ramp up our product launches, enabling more performance than ever before. We’re handpicking the best engineers in powertrain and vehicle dynamics to ensure our team embodies the true essence of SRT.”

Additionally, Kuniskis will continue to lead Ram while overseeing the reestablished SRT division, which will manage Direct Connection and North American motorsport activities, including NHRA drag racing and Ram's exciting return to the NASCAR Truck Series next year.

Get ready, motorsport enthusiasts and car lovers—Stellantis is primed for a game-changing revival of performance under Tim Kuniskis’s dynamic leadership!
