Distribution and Health Risks

These products were distributed to several states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, and Texas. However, the FSIS notes that there is a possibility the contaminated products have reached distributors nationwide, raising concerns among consumers across the country.

It is important to highlight that this recall has been classified as a Class III recall, signifying a marginal risk to health. This means that while the product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences, consumers are advised to avoid consuming the affected items.

As food safety remains a priority, consumers who have purchased these products are urged to check their pantry and dispose of any affected items. To ensure public safety, it is crucial for companies to swiftly address any contamination issues.
