Footage from the party, despite guest restrictions on filming, showed the group of entertainers entering the venue. One performer, speaking anonymously to Catalan radio, defended their presence, stating, "No one disrespected us. We were allowed to work in peace. We’re normal people who dedicate ourselves to what we love doing in an absolutely legal way." They felt that the outcry was disproportionate, attributing it largely to the event's high-profile nature.
