Reflecting on her journey, Sackhoff revealed, "I lost all of my confidence after ‘Mandalorian.’ I’ve always performed from a place that felt intrinsic to who I am. But Bo-Katan was a complete departure from my reality. I couldn’t find a connection to her." This struggle to identify with her character led to a concerning three-year hiatus in her acting career.

From Animated Hero to Live-Action Icon

Sackhoff first breathed life into Bo-Katan in the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" before stepping into her boots for the live-action series in 2020. Despite her character gaining prominence in Season 3 alongside Pedro Pascal, the future of her role seems uncertain. With Disney set to release "The Mandalorian and Grogu" in theaters come May, Sackhoff currently has no confirmed role in the film.
