The controversy erupted when it was disclosed that Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Hudson, made a bold cold call to podcaster Charlotte Wilder. This came after Wilder frequently touched on Hudson’s relationship and her competing in the Miss Maine pageant during episodes of "The Sports Gossip Show," co-hosted with Madison Hill.

Taking to Instagram, the 24-year-old cheerleader-turned-pageant contender reposted a story from a fitness influencer who critiqued Wilder's take, declaring it "disappointing." The influencer challenged, "Should Jordon be limited by her boyfriend's fame? She has every right to pursue her dreams, regardless of who she's dating!"

Hudson, who has expressed frustration over the media's portrayal of her relationship with the 73-year-old University of North Carolina football coach, seemed to take her issues directly to Wilder during the phone call.
