CINCINNATI -- After a rocky start to the season, star quarterback Joe Burrow is ready to boost his leadership role on the Cincinnati Bengals as they prepare to face the Carolina Panthers this weekend.

With the Bengals currently sitting at 0-3, Burrow acknowledged that this could be the time to step out of his usual “lead by example” style and become more vocal.

In a candid press conference, Burrow stated, 'I’m usually a lead by example kind of guy. But I think I can pick my spots to say some more things. I’ll find those spots this week.' This shift in attitude comes as the Bengals look to turn around their worst start since before they drafted Burrow first overall in 2020.

“The postseason is the furthest thing from my mind right now.

We had a good walkthrough, and the most important thing is getting our first win against the Panthers,” he said.

“Joe gives us the ultimate belief.
