In a dramatic turn of events, the Green Bay Packers suffer a blow as wide receiver Jayden Reed has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury incurred in the opening series of the game.

Reed’s day went from bad to worse after a spectacular 39-yard touchdown catch was wiped off the board because of a holding penalty on right tackle Anthony Belton. To add to the misfortune, Reed fell hard on his right shoulder following a tackle by Commanders defensive back Quan Martin, who unfortunately landed fully on top of him.

The Washington Commanders faced their own setbacks as defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. has also been ruled out for the game due to a quadriceps injury. Wise's injury was severe enough to necessitate being carted off the field after an extra point.

Additionally, tight end John Bates is also out with a groin issue, and offensive guard Brandon Coleman has his return in question due to a shoulder injury.
