Hong Kong Hosts Groundbreaking Global Stem Cell Conference

For the first time ever, Hong Kong became the epicenter of stem cell and regenerative medicine innovation as it hosted the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) 2025 Annual Meeting from June 11-14. This gathering marked the ISSCR's much-anticipated return to Asia after a 13-year hiatus, thanks to a successful campaign led by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and local academic institutions, including The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Their collaborative effort has placed Hong Kong firmly on the map for international scientific events.
