Jessie Cave Excluded from Harry Potter Convention

Jessie Cave, renowned for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter franchise, has revealed that her newly launched OnlyFans page has led to her exclusion from a Harry Potter fan convention.

Cave, who initially stated her OnlyFans account focuses on creating sensual yet non-explicit hair content, expressed her frustration in a recent Substack post. "I was told I wasn’t booked for the convention due to my OnlyFans, which they labeled as affiliated with adult content. This baffled me, considering many actors at these events have been involved in intimate scenes or nudity in their careers. I’m merely showcasing hair, not engaging in anything explicit!"

Moving On from Harry Potter

Despite feeling 'canceled' by some within the Harry Potter community, Cave is ready to embrace change, especially with a new TV series based on the beloved story currently in the works. "I’m not upset about the end of my time at Harry Potter conventions. A new cast will bring fresh energy, and I've participated in these for over 15 years, collecting plenty of memories and memorabilia," she reflected.

From Potter to New Roles

Cave reminisced about the days when signing photos of her character was her main source of income. "There were years when that was my only real earnings, and I feel fortunate for the experience. However, it’s time to explore and portray new characters," she added.

Having portrayed Lavender Brown from the sixth movie onward, Cave also participated in the final two films. She acknowledged the financial benefits of her convention appearances but emphasized the importance of moving forward.

The Reality Behind OnlyFans

On her Substack, Cave has been open about her motivations for starting an OnlyFans account. "It's a way to support my bills and fund renovations on my new home. It’s practical and not as scandalous as some might think," she concluded, highlighting the new avenues she’s exploring.
