However, this doesn’t rule out a change at the quarterback position in the near future. The Giants appear to be purposefully managing external pressure to give themselves time to act at their own pace.

As the Giants prepare to face the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday, the upcoming schedule includes tough matchups against the Chiefs and Chargers. Many speculate that Week 5, when they take on the Saints, could be the ideal moment to consider transitioning to Dart. Following that, they will have a mini-bye after playing the Eagles in Week 6, which could also present a pivotal opportunity.

Drawing from history, the Giants are known for their decisive quarterback decisions. In 2004, they benched future Hall of Famer Kurt Warner in favor of then-rookie Eli Manning despite having a 5-4 record, setting a precedent that they might act when they believe Dart is fully prepared.

There’s also the possibility of a detour with veteran quarterback Jameis Winston before committing to Dart. For now, the Giants seem to be keeping all options on the table, leaving fans and analysts guessing about their next move.
