The New York Giants are making waves as they prepare for training camp, recently adding four new players for a workout during their mandatory minicamp practice.

Meet the New Additions

Among the quartet are notable names like safety K’Von Wallace and guard Carter O'Donnell, along with outside linebacker Kenny Dyson and safety Millard Bradford.

K’Von Wallace: A Familiar Face

K’Von Wallace stands out as the most recognized player on the list. A fourth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, Wallace has spent five seasons hopping between teams, including the Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and Seattle Seahawks. Last season, while under Giants’ defensive coordinator Shane Bowen during his time in Tennessee, he played 10 games, starting seven of them. With a total of 71 regular-season appearances and 19 starts under his belt, Wallace brings valuable experience to the Giants.

Millard Bradford: The Underdog

Safety Millard Bradford is also looking to make his mark. A former undrafted free agent from TCU, Bradford has seen limited action but did suit up for the New Orleans Saints in 2024, mostly contributing on special teams with all 40 of his snaps in that capacity.

Kenny Dyson: A New Opportunity

Kenny Dyson's journey has brought him to the Giants after a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers. He signed as an undrafted free agent from Bryant College and managed to see action in two games with the Panthers last season. Dyson is on the hunt for a fresh start and more playing time.

Carter O’Donnell: The Versatile Lineman

Carter O'Donnell, a towering figure at 6 feet 5 inches and 305 pounds, played his college ball at the University of Alberta. After signing with the Indianapolis Colts in 2020 and bouncing around their roster, he landed with the Arizona Cardinals, where he played five games, earning three starts. Notably, he logged 171 snaps at left guard and 21 at right guard, finishing with a Pro Football Focus grade of 54.1.

Injury Considerations

The Giants are also dealing with some injury concerns. Safety Anthony Johnson, a 2023 seventh-round pick claimed off waivers last August, is currently nursing a shoulder injury. Additionally, edge defender Victor Dimukeje has missed all spring practices due to a pectoral injury, complicating the Giants’ defensive lineup as they look to solidify their roster.

With these new additions, the Giants are clearly working to enhance their squad and address any weaknesses as they gear up for a crucial training camp ahead!
