Mark Your Calendars: June 14, 2025!
The countdown has begun! The prestigious 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans kicks off at 4 PM CET on Saturday, June 14. This legendary endurance race, now in its 93rd edition, is set to capture the hearts of motorsport fans worldwide at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe.
Cadillac's Historic Bid for Glory
In a thrilling twist, Cadillac is gunning for its first-ever victory at Le Mans, having clinched pole position during Hyperpole with its No.12 and No.38 cars. A win here would make Cadillac the first American manufacturer to triumph outright since Ford’s legendary win in 1969. The stakes have never been higher!
The Competition Heats Up
But Cadillac won’t have an easy road ahead. The legendary race will see fierce competition from six manufacturers, all vying for glory. Last year's champions, Ferrari, are struggling after a lukewarm qualifying performance, securing only seventh with the No.50 car and facing challenges with their other entries at 11th and 13th place.
Porsche Aims for 20th Triumph!
Porsche is chasing its 20th victory at Le Mans and the first win for Roger Penske's team. The Penske Motorsport-run 963 cars will start strong, lined up at third, fifth, and last in their class, but faces a setback after the disqualification of their No.6 entry due to a weight limit violation.
Toyota's Comeback Quest
Meanwhile, Toyota is looking for its sixth victory, marking the 40th anniversary of its debut at this thrilling event. However, they’ll have to battle their way up from the less-than-ideal 10th and 16th starting positions.
Other Contenders Eager to Make Their Mark
The field is also packed with potential dark horses, including BMW and Alpine, while Aston Martin and Peugeot are eyeing a tough but exciting race ahead.
Three Classes, One Epic Race
Fans can expect three thrilling classes on track, with the No.29 TDS Racing entry leading the LMP2 field and the No.27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin at the front of the LMGT3 class.
Don't Miss the Action!
Get ready for nonstop action from 4 PM CET on Saturday, June 14, to 4 PM CET on Sunday, June 15. This race isn't just a spectacle—it's a double points round in the World Endurance Championship, promising extra excitement as teams push their limits on this hallowed track!
