This weekend, racing fans will flock to Darlington Raceway as it hosts the exhilarating playoff openers for both the Cup and Truck series.

On Saturday, the Truck Series revs into gear with a thrilling 200-mile race, marking the beginning of a seven-race journey across three rounds to crown a champion. The intensity will be palpable as drivers battle it out on what is affectionately dubbed ‘The Track Too Tough to Tame.’

Sunday night will see the Cup Series launch its 10-race playoff with the prestigious Southern 500, a race that Chase Briscoe won last year. This iconic event, previously the regular-season finale, is back in the playoff spotlight, promising fierce competition and edge-of-your-seat action.

Notably, this weekend marks the Truck Series' first late summer appearance at Darlington since 2021. Ross Chastain took the crown in the last Truck race held at this legendary venue earlier this year on May 10.
