The attack, which occurred around 12:50 PM near a bus stop on Clear Water Bay Road, involved three assailants who emerged from a vehicle with fake license plates. Within a mere 10 seconds, they brutally assaulted the officer before fleeing the scene. The officer sustained multiple injuries, including six deep cuts and a fractured wrist, although he is currently in stable condition.

Injuries to Bystanders

In a twist of fate, during their escape, the assailants collided with a 33-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter. Fortunately, both sustained only minor injuries and were treated and released from the hospital.
