In a sensational start to her Radical Optimism World Tour, Dua Lipa electrified the audience at the United Center in Chicago on September 5! Fans were treated to an unforgettable experience, highlighted by a dazzling array of costumes and a spectacular 22-song setlist featuring hits from her latest album.

The crowd erupted when the British pop sensation, dressed in a stunning sparkly black coat with feathered sleeves, surprised everyone by inviting the legendary Chaka Khan to join her on stage. The duo delivered a breathtaking performance of Khan's classic 1983 hit, "Ain't Nobody," leaving the audience in awe.

This surprise appearance continues Lipa's trend of sharing the spotlight with music icons during her world tour. Earlier this year, fans in New Zealand were thrilled when she brought out Neil Finn from Crowded House, and she later wowed the London crowd with a special guest appearance by Jamiroquai.

After a short break in August, Dua returned to North America with back-to-back shows in Toronto on September 1 and 2, captivating attendees with a memorable performance. Billboard has even highlighted the six best moments from her Toronto opener!

The U.S. leg of the Radical Optimism tour will continue on September 6 with another show in Chicago before traveling to major cities like Boston, Atlanta, New York, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Dua Lipa’s third studio album, Radical Optimism, released last year, debuted impressively at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and features chart-topping hits, including the lead single "Houdini," which dominated the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for an incredible 17 weeks. Lipa kickstarted the Radical Optimism tour in November 2024, performing in arenas across Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
