At just 27 years old, the talented Sacramento native leaves Inter Miami as the player with the most appearances in the Club's history. Callender was instrumental in leading the team to its first two major titles, including the historic 2023 Leagues Cup, where he not only secured the trophy but also claimed the coveted Man of the Match award in the finals.

His skill and determination shone brightly as he was named the tournament's Best Goalkeeper, solidifying his reputation as one of the league's top talents. Subsequently, he played a crucial role in helping Inter Miami clinch the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield, contributing to a record-setting 74 points during the regular season.

From Dreams to Reality: Callender's Rise

Drake Callender's journey began when he joined Inter Miami in December 2019 after the Club acquired his Homegrown Player Rights from the San Jose Earthquakes. After two seasons in the development ranks with Inter Miami CF II, he stepped up to claim the First Team starting goalkeeper role in 2022.

With an impressive total of 118 appearances under his belt—96 of which were in MLS play—Callender made history as one of the first players to surpass the impressive milestone of 100 appearances for the Club.
