The Miami Dolphins are gearing up for a crucial matchup against the Buffalo Bills, and their spirits are high despite facing a challenging history. The Dolphins haven’t tasted victory over the Bills in 15 of their last 17 encounters, including playoffs, and it's been since September 25, 2022, since they last celebrated a win against them.

The odds are stacked against Miami, especially considering their last victory on Buffalo turf was all the way back in 2016—a time when Adam Gase was at the helm and Rex Ryan was coaching the Bills. In fact, receiver Jaylen Waddle hadn’t even begun his college career then.

Now, as the Dolphins prepare for their upcoming game at 0-2, Waddle asserts that the team feels 2no pressure at all.2 He emphasizes the focus on simply improving their game and competing fiercely.

"We’re just trying to play the best ball that we can,” Waddle stated. “Go out there and compete at a high level, do our jobs, and get a win." He's confident that the mistakes made in the first two games are correctable and that the team can easily bounce back.

Waddle pointed out that many of Miami's issues in the early season were self-inflicted. He believes with proper preparation, these problems can be fixed moving forward.

Adding to the excitement, this game marks the Dolphins' first standalone primetime appearance of the season. Waddle can't help but express the thrill of performing under the bright lights.

"If you’re not excited about playing on primetime, you really shouldn’t be in this sport,” he quipped. “We’re going to be the only game on TV that night—this is what the game is all about; it should be fun.”
