Details are emerging that reveal the SBU launched a targeted operation to apprehend suspected members of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB). However, when the agents resisted during the raid, Ukrainian forces were forced to take them out.

Russian officials have remained silent on the incident, which adds to the growing list of embarrassing military setbacks for Moscow, particularly where Ukraine's intelligence operations are concerned. The operation echoes past instances where Ukrainian forces successfully neutralized high-ranking Russian military personnel.

Reportedly, two FSB agents—a man and a woman—are believed to have executed the assassination of Colonel Voronych, which was caught on surveillance cameras.
