The 27-year-old star made waves with her breakout role in Hulu's 2020 hit "Normal People" alongside Paul Mescal and has since graced the screen in major films like "Where the Crawdads Sing" and the upcoming "Twisters."
Austen's work has seen numerous adaptations over the years, with the 1995 film directed by Ang Lee being especially noteworthy, featuring Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet in memorable roles. Focus Features has a history of bringing Austen's stories to life, having produced the charming 2005 "Pride and Prejudice" starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, as well as the vibrant 2020 adaptation of "Emma" featuring Anya Taylor-Joy.
