Though these results are compelling, researchers caution that they do not definitively prove that sodas cause hair loss. While there’s an ongoing debate among experts about the link between fizzy drinks and hair loss, Dr. Susan Massick, a dermatology professor at Ohio State University, acknowledges the importance of diet in overall health but highlights that male-pattern baldness is influenced by multiple factors.
