The Commanders faced off against the Ravens in their third preseason game, and let’s just say it was another lopsided affair! With the regular season on the horizon, Dan Quinn can’t be too happy with his team’s performance. But fear not, training camp has wrapped up, and it’s time to shift focus to the upcoming match against the Giants. If Washington starts slow, questions might arise!

On the bright side, most of the squad emerged from the preseason relatively healthy, with key players returning from injuries.

Studs of the Game:

**Chris Rodriguez** - The star of the game! Rodriguez dazzled with his vision and explosiveness, proving why the team moved on from Brian Robinson. With five carries totaling 34 yards, he showcased his potential and left fans excited.

**Jordan Magee** - This linebacker did not disappoint! Magee’s knack for tackling shone through his limited snaps, recording four tackles—three solo. His return to health could be pivotal for the Commanders’ defense.

**Luke McCaffrey** - Making the most of his chance, McCaffrey was reliable, catching all five passes for 23 yards. He displayed impressive run-after-catch skills, blocked effectively, and even contributed on special teams.

**Ale Kaho** - Kaho’s playmaking ability continued to impress. With seven tackles—six solo and one for a loss—he has shown he can’t be overlooked, especially as the team finalizes its 53-man roster.

**Tyler Owens** - Owens had some standout moments with a tackle-for-loss and a pass defended. His performance suggests he’s ready to make an impact.

Duds of the Game:

**Sam Hartman** - A serious letdown. Hartman's play was painful to watch, as he struggled with accuracy and awareness, leading to two interceptions and a fumble. It's hard for the receivers to shine with this level of performance.

**Matt Gay** - The kicking problems persist. Gay simply isn't cutting it, raising concerns about the team’s kicking game. Perhaps it’s time to scout for an accurate kicker abroad!

**K.J. Osborn** - With competition for roster spots heating up, Osborn's dropped passes are concerning. He can’t afford to miss opportunities.

Additional Notes:

**Colson Yankoff** showcased his talent with a spectacular 52-yard catch and run, although he did miss a critical block on a fourth down play.

**Sheldon Day** is outperforming Eddie Goldman, which could impact roster decisions.

**Josh Johnson** may not be as rough as Hartman, but he certainly hasn’t impressed either.

**Tim McKay** appears to be a candidate for the practice squad as he develops.

**Vigers** continues to deliver flashes of brilliance but struggles with rookie mistakes.

Lastly, **Chris Moore** has encountered more drops than catches this preseason, highlighting a concerning trend.
