His extensive experience covers key jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney. Before joining CMS, Tran held partner positions at prestigious firms such as Morrison Foerster, Mayer Brown, Hogan Lovells, and Kirkland & Ellis. He is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and Australia.

Tran's track record includes advising on notable transactions such as Grab's acquisition of Chope, a prominent restaurant reservation application in Southeast Asia. His insight into the fintech landscape also saw him provide strategic counsel to a global private equity fund contemplating the acquisition of a fintech company based in Singapore.
