In a whirlwind dining experience that turned dramatic, Chloe Fineman, the hilarious star of Saturday Night Live, recently revealed she faced a berating from a restaurant manager while simply trying to chat with Hollywood icon Demi Moore.

In a TikTok video, Fineman shared the incident that took place at Sant Ambroeus, an Italian restaurant on Madison Avenue, after she and her sister Emma decided to eat there during what they thought would be an idyllic day out.

As they settled into their seats, Fineman spotted none other than Demi Moore and her adorable pup, Pilaf. "I recognized Demi and said, 'Oh, hi!' We've met before when I held Pilaf backstage at SNL," she said, recalling the encounter warmly.

However, things took a sharp turn when a nearby manager confronted her. "He was rude from the get-go, demanding, 'What are you doing here? Come with me!'" Fineman expressed her confusion at his behavior, especially with so many vacant tables around.

She wasn’t about to back down, stating, "Calm down. I'm not nobody. I'm on SNL!" Yet, the manager dismissed her response, insisting he treated everyone equally. The back-and-forth quickly escalated, with both claiming rudeness.

Despite the awkwardness, Fineman humorously recounted the situation: "All I did was say hi to Pilaf little mouse!" The comedian then reflected on New York's notorious reputation for brusque interactions.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to Sant Ambroeus and Moore’s reps for comments on the encounter.

Fineman, who joined SNL in 2019, is known for her uncanny impressions of celebrities. In the past, she has also addressed the troubling behavior of others in the industry, notably calling out Elon Musk when he hosted the show in May 2021.
