As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to clash with the New York Giants this Sunday, all eyes are on the injury reports, particularly concerning rookie standout Xavier Worthy's condition.

Head coach Andy Reid has kept the media updated, stating that while he initially anticipated no limitations for Worthy during practice, the injury report still marked him as a limited participant. Worthy's shoulder injury, sustained during Week 1’s defeat against the Chargers, kept him sidelined for the following game against the Eagles.

In a boost for the receiving corps, rookie Jalen Royals has shown improvement, moving up to a limited participant in practice after missing the initial games of the season due to a knee issue. Additionally, left tackle Josh Simmons is also noted as limited due to an illness.

On the defensive side, the Chiefs faced some setbacks with defensive end Mike Danna and cornerback Kristian Fulton both absent from practice, dealing with quad and ankle injuries respectively.

However, the Chiefs received great news with the inclusion of quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the practice report—listed as a full participant despite a minor right wrist concern. Unless there are any last-minute changes, fans can expect to see him leading the offense on the field come Sunday.

Alongside Mahomes, several key players, including wide receiver Hollywood Brown and linebacker Drue Tranquill, were also full participants in the practice, raising hopes for a dynamic performance against the Giants.
