In a shocking turn of events, nearly 30 passengers found themselves banned from future voyages with Carnival Cruise Line after a brawl erupted at the Galveston terminal this past weekend.

Video footage capturing the chaotic scene from April 26 reveals a group of travelers shoving past barriers and throwing punches, with one individual being knocked to the ground as security looked on.

Witness Trelle Ray shared the explosive footage on Facebook, noting that the conflict broke out as passengers disembarked from the Carnival Jubilee, which had just returned from a week-long jaunt to the Caribbean, stopping in vibrant locales like Mexico and Honduras. The motive behind the altercation remains a mystery.

Carnival Cruise Line promptly addressed the incident, stating, "The situation unfolded in the debarkation area under the jurisdiction of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We are cooperating with law enforcement and will not tolerate such disruptive behavior; 24 individuals have been placed on our Do Not Sail list."

The Port of Galveston Police were quick to respond to the disturbance at Cruise Terminal 25, taking a number of individuals into custody. Reports indicate at least one arrest, though details about the charges remain undisclosed.

This latest brawl follows a similar incident aboard the Carnival Paradise in June 2024, where footage showed guests engaged in a wild melee, tossing chairs and tackling one another in a buffet area.

As Carnival Cruise Line works to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for its guests, this alarming behavior raises questions about passenger conduct and safety aboard these popular voyages.
