On June 16, 2025, Cathay Pacific has officially kicked off its inaugural non-stop flights connecting Hong Kong and Munich, a game-changer in the airline's expansion strategy across Europe!
This new route not only offers travelers a direct link to the Bavarian capital—one of Europe’s most significant economic and cultural hubs—but also coincides with the airline's ongoing efforts to boost its service offerings. Just recently, they introduced seasonal flights to Rome on June 5, with more routes to Brussels set to make a comeback on August 3.
Together with HK Express, the Cathay Group now proudly serves 100 passenger destinations worldwide, with ambitious plans to add 18 more locations by the end of 2025. Recent additions to their network include the thrilling new Munich route, alongside Rome, and services from HK Express to South Korean cities like Cheongju and Daegu, with Miyako (Shimojishima) on the horizon.

Travelers can experience the comfort of Cathay Pacific’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the Munich route, which offers fully-flat beds in Business Class, spacious Premium Economy seating, and enhanced comfort throughout Economy.
