According to exclusive data from Alinea Analytics reported by GamesIndustry.biz, this highly anticipated title has sold over 1.3 million copies on Steam alone, contributing more than $80 million to its impressive earnings. Additionally, the game has moved over one million units on various console platforms.

Not only did it achieve remarkable sales, but Borderlands 4 also reached a peak of 300,000 concurrent players on Steam, showing its immense popularity right out of the gate.

Diving into regional statistics, more than half of the players are based in the United States, followed by notable player populations in China, Germany, the UK, and Canada.

For PlayStation users, the demographic is similarly US-heavy, with the nation accounting for the majority of players, whereas European countries like the UK, Germany, France, and Canada each hold between 5% to 8% of the player base.

On PlayStation, the numbers are even more revealing, with 81% having played Borderlands 3, and 64% exploring Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.
