HONG KONG - Get ready for a heartwarming experience as visitors at Ocean Park Hong Kong can now witness the delightful twin giant panda cubs, born and raised in the city, alongside their loving mother, Ying Ying, starting this Saturday!

Excitement filled the air as enthusiastic fans arrived two hours before the park's opening, eagerly anticipating a rare glimpse of maternal bonding. Howard Chuk, head of zoological operations and conservation at Ocean Park, emphasized the importance of the maternal relationship: "Giant panda cubs grow up best nurtured by their mothers. They typically remain dependent on their moms for two to three years, learning vital skills like sniffing in the process."

At the park, the playful male cub was seen closely following Ying Ying, attempting to gain her attention with adorable antics until she responded with affectionate kisses and gentle nudges. Meanwhile, the female cub enjoyed her own moment of affection—a sweet kiss on the cheek from mom as she relaxed on a wooden rack. After their joyful playtime, the caring mother breastfed the adorable duo, showcasing the loving bond they share.

In an exciting development for fans, the park has allocated around 3,000 tickets daily for guests eager to observe the panda family. Remarkably, all tickets were snatched up by noon on the opening day! Each group of 40 visitors is given a precious three minutes to witness the enchanting family dynamic.

The twins, who caught the public's eye on February 16 when they celebrated their six-month milestone, now weigh approximately 12 kilograms each. They are receiving the best of care with both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding.

While the proud father, Le Le, remains separate from the family—consistent with the solitary nature of male pandas—the focus is on the nurturing environment provided by Ying Ying.

And here's the cherry on top: The official names of the adorable cubs will be revealed in the first half of the year, selected from a city-wide naming contest that promises to engage the community.

Why miss out on this incredible opportunity to see one of nature's most cherished animals? Plan your visit, but act fast—these panda cubs are sure to steal the hearts of Hong Kong and beyond!
