In a surprising turn of events, veteran right-hander Aaron Civale has formally requested a trade from the Milwaukee Brewers after being pushed to the bullpen. This move follows the ascension of top prospect Jacob Misiorowski, who now occupies a spot in the rotation.

Civale's agent, Jack Toffey, revealed that he approached Brewers general manager Matt Arnold regarding the trade request. "The conversation was very professional," Toffey shared, highlighting Civale's desire to continue his career as a starting pitcher as he heads into free agency at season's end.
