Anyone who visited these locations should monitor for symptoms until the specified dates below:

- **The Indian Supermarket, Kitchener:** May 4, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Symptoms should be monitored until May 25, 2025.

- **Snackruptors, Cambridge:** May 5 and May 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monitor until May 30, 2025.

- **Eastwood Collegiate, Kitchener:** May 6-8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Symptoms monitor until May 29, 2025.

- **Cineplex Cinemas, Kitchener:** May 6, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Monitor until May 27, 2025.

- **OM India Food Centre, Kitchener:** May 7, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monitor until May 28, 2025.

- **University of Waterloo Humanities Theatre:** May 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monitor until May 29, 2025.

Transit Exposure Warnings

Measles has also been linked to rides on Grand River Transit. Check the following dates:

- **Route 34 Bingemans:** Several exposures between May 6-9, including morning and evening times. Monitor until May 30, 2025.

Rising Measles Cases in the Region

As of now, **59 measles cases** have been reported in the Waterloo region, with a striking **11 new cases** since the last update. Overall, Ontario has reported **1,622 confirmed cases** since the outbreak began—an alarming increase of **182 cases** in just one week.

School Closures Amid Measles Concerns

In response, school officials have acted swiftly: Eastwood Collegiate Institute was closed on May 4 due to a confirmed case. Similarly, St. Mary's high school is also closed as a preventative measure following additional cases.
