Exciting Cross-Save Launch—But Not for Everyone!

Big news for Vampire Survivors fans! The highly anticipated cross-save feature has officially launched, allowing players to save their progress across various platforms—except for PlayStation! That's right, players on PS4 and PS5 will have to stay put, as a legal hiccup has thrown a wrench in these plans.

In a statement from the game's developer Poncle, they revealed that a last-minute legal issue prevents them from sharing necessary information with Sony. "While we initially planned for cross-saves to include PlayStation, our chances of making this happen now seem very slim," the developer explained, emphasizing their commitment to resolving the matter.

Where You Can Use Cross-Save—And Where You Can't!

For those not on PlayStation, rejoice! Cross-saves are now live on Android, iOS, PC, and Xbox. The Nintendo Switch will also receive this feature, but fans will have to wait a bit longer. There’s even hope for the Apple Arcade version, provided privacy concerns can be navigated.

A Manual Syncing Process—Get Ready!

However, it’s important to note that cross-saves won’t be automatically synced across platforms. Players will need to manually manage their save data, so keep that in mind when switching between devices.

In Other Exciting News!

In addition to the cross-save announcement, Poncle has rolled out a free DLC expansion titled Emerald Diorama, inspired by the beloved SaGa franchise from Square Enix. Plus, there's a fun chicken-themed update in the main game called "The Coop"—a delight for gamers looking to spice up their experience!
